My Bloggy Woggy

Yaaay i got my realflow course certificate, i would like to thank Chris so much, he did very hard work to make us understand how realflow really works, how to make extraordinary splashes that we can use for highend productions and how to tame & take control over realflow because it can goes like a mad dog if you don’t know how to deal with it ;)

if you are interested to learn realflow in a proper way, then don’t miss Chris’s next workshop @ CG Society

Thank you Chris for teaching me all of this crazy stuff and putting me on the right track.

Hello guys, im working on vfx scene as the final project for the Realflow workshop that i joined on CG Society 2 months ago.

Simply i want to make a flood and i didn’t want to hurt NY like everyone else :D so i decided to flood the Grand Canyon.

The idea is to make a LowPoly environment and project a still image on it, then flood it with water using realflow the camera projection of this scene was tough more than i imagined.. anyway i here is the final projection without the fluid, plus some dynamic animation for the camera, tomorrow i will start working on the fluid simulation using the Hybrido.

I couldn’t hold myself to post the projection test video without doing some compositing some lens flares and some grading :D

Hope you like it guys, and im looking forward to know your feedback.

Cheers

just testing the “Interaction Factor” effect with the grid fluid.

Hi guys i made a small test about filling a cup from bottom up. i have used Kill Speed Force to make the fluid freeze after its filled up.

I have just finish rendering the fluid mesh.. too many awful mistakes i know but you’ll never learn if you don’t make mistakes ;)

it took 14 hours to be simulated using Realflow, and took 3 hours to be rendered using Maya & Mentalray.

i will try to make it more viscous next time.

A rough experiment to fill an object with particles using the DSpline force.. The idea was to create some particles using a circle emitter then at a certain point, these particles change its emitter from an emitter (which effected by the DSpline force) to another emitter (which effected only by a Gravity force and a Heart Mesh).

I think the particles didn’t look natural while they were flying, i will work on it more.

Hey guys, yesterday i had fun playing with Realflow to simulate an ice cream sauce, here is a preview.. i will try to finalize it and post it on the blog this week.
Cheers

Making a Splash: Realflow Workflows revealed.
Chris Soyer

Anyway i want to tell you that i have joined a realflow workshop on CG Society last June, Chris Soyer is the instructor, he is a crazy Realflow geek, he helped me a lot to understand Realflow and i feel now that my skills are in another level…
Thank you Chris ^^
